Im wondering is there anything other than circle occlets that identify a rio negro? I have a F1 orino I bought a few months ago and rather than stripes or bars hes forming circle occlets with spangling in between, and Im starting to question his heritage. If there are anymore identifying marks please let me know?

Oops! Idk how I said heritage, I meant parentage, but does anyone know.

This is the only true Rio Negro Orino i have seen.

It still could be called Rio Negro, but you got your upper negro (Colombia) and lower negro (Brazil). There are many factors in playing a part in color.

I dont have a background and my glass is a little dirty so its hard to capture his colors but the markings look similar to me and this guy is 6-7in.

To me it still looks like a colombian Orino.

Lower rio negro will be produce more distinct occlets with no spangle connecting the three occlets. Bolder dark colors of silver-ish red.

Hayn Wes(fugupuff), imported i believe 4 or 5 REAL rn's a couple years ago for jcardona1. I bumped the thread..in the media lounge. He ended up selling them off a couple years back when he got outta the game. JOse knows his stuff when it comes to orino's.
