i am all mixed up on atf ids

i have been told that i have vatfs and goliaths. i got them all as goliaths. i noticed that 2 of them have simmilar mouths, slimmer, smaller. hint of red in the lower tail and the teeth are not as pronounced. the other is thicker, bigger mouth, VERY noticeable chompers, dark red in the tail and a golder head. the larger on is also the most aggressive of the three. it also is the only one of the three to not eat fillets yet.

i will try to get pics of them, but they move wicked fast! i had a vid thread a while ago, but didn't get much response on them. i would like a proper id on them. i also changed the tank up so i may do another vid for this thread. if anyone has some pics of vatf's with little pronounced stripes feel free to post them. i looked threw the "clarification" post but just got more mixed up.

set the camera to sports mode, it'll help be quick to take the picture ... i have both tigers, so i'll prob be able to help, but i'm no expert .... the smaller they are, the harder they are to ID as well ... and take pictures of! lol

i got some usable pics, i am using a iphone for them so it is extra hard. they are smallest -4-5" to the biggest about 6" maybe 7". i am uploading them now.

here are the pics. i am guessing the biggest with the bright red tail is a goliath, and the other 2 are vittinis. also the one i think is a goliath has some nice pearly whites!! also the powerheads in the background are not plugged in so they are in need of ambition to be removed.

Scott, I can assure you that you have gatfs. The two biggest one r gatf the littlest one is kinda hard to tell. But all the jaws shape seem to be gatf. How about a close up shot of the jaws and tail I know it hard to take pics of them LoL. The biggest one with the red tail has a nice bottom fan tail. That one way i you can tell them apart.

thank for the infor...i originally thought that, but then got confused when i saw some atfs looking like mine called vatfs, but they looked like gatfs.

i'll dig up a pic of the smaller on from its grow out tank.
