African Butterfly fish and Amazon Leaf fish

my butterfly seems to be pretty much worthless. he always just sits there in the corner of the tank, he'll eat freeze dried shrimp from time to time, but that's pretty much all. never goes after anything that isn't dropped right in front of his face. i've moved him to a few different tanks with different tank mates but he always just sucks. i'm about to get rid of him... glad yours is cool though
Leaf is 3 inches, payara at the bottom hes about to be moved. Gonna add butterfly fish and leapord fish. For the bottom couple fancy plecos and either chaca chaca catfish or some smaller growing spiny eels.
Ya I need to find somthing really wild that is predatory for the bottom of my tank that will stay small enough to stay in a 29 gallon. I am having a really tough time trying to find somthing though, any thoughts?
Butis butis would be great if you can find them. Also chaca chaca catfish,some of the smaller bumble bee catfish.
Very will eat whatever fits in its big mouth, i have one in a 125 with my 2 Marble Sleeper Gobys.
Ya the problem is this fish will have to stay in a 29 gallon aquarium for its whole life, and it can't get huge.
