has anyone ever had a problem with racoons around their above ground pool pond. My pond is indoors in a garage and racoons have been see inside

Raccoons will kill and eat, not just fish, either. They'll tear cats up, rabbits and sometimes anything that challenges them.
We had a couple get in our garage and hub up in a crawlspace. I tried to scare them out and they stood ground and snarled at me, at first.

I had some raccoon kill a WHOLE population of rabbit in my yard! As well as atleast 20 squirrels! Crazy little bastards! I trap them in ny state and when I bring the trap they try to bite and scratch you I shot one in the head at least 3 times with a .22 magnum rifle and he didn't even budge! I had to shoot him with a .308! Little thing wouldn't die! They are tough! They will catch and kill ANY fish they can catch

Get a bigger gun.

I know an old guy who raises rabbits. A pair of raccoons came in to kill them at night, and he got in quite a hand-to-paw fight before killing them. his arms were all tore up.
LOL.
He was inside the city limits & couldn't use a gun.
;-)

That's how you do it!! Creds to that guy, I had a snapper in my pond to keep them out he killed one but since my snapper is gone now eh are coming back. How do I lure them into my backyard so I can kill them? This pond is at my grandpas in culver city Cali so can I legally kill them? I HATE THEM true enemies of fish keepers. I think I might use my bb gun to kill them.

A BB gun won't even phase them.
and when they have offspring, the whole family will come in for food!
I don't know the laws down there. County animal control can tell you. but I doubt it's illegal, as they are pests on your property.

Do NOT try what that old guy did, he just went crazy mad- but that's dangerous. His first reaction was to grab them away from the bunny cages. LOL. I think he finally beat them to death with something.

Call Billy The Exterminator. He'll turn 'em loose down the road, so they can hike back with their cousins! haha.

Get a bigger gun? Have you seen a .308 round? That's some serious ammo there! Some big rounds! I use .308's to kill bears!
