At the bottom of every post is a line with various icons: "blog post", "report post", "edit post", "reply", "reply with quote". When I come across spam, I click the little triangular icon "report post". I write "spam". It is quickly deleted by a moderator. The stuff is computer generated and quickly pops up and can be easily overlooked by a moderator. What really amazes me, is that there can be 25 views of the thread with no one reporting it.

Also, when people post rude, offensive, or inappropriate comments, their posts should be reported for editing and/or deletion by a mod. If we see a post that is wrong or inappropriate, it is all our responsibilities to report it. Yesterday, a long-time member suffered the horrific, devastating loss of all her fish in a terrible moving accident. While every one was expressing their condolences, two extremely insensitive new members (one and two month memberships) wrote things like, "I don't believe it. Post pictures if it's true" When these posts were reported, one was deleted, and the other was edited to some like, "I'm sorry to hear of your loss". The report icon really does work, and it is there for all of us to use to keep our forum free from spam and rude, vulgar, insensitive or inappropriate posts.
