Also if you go with ebvisiin, you could talk them into letting you throw in a 3d background before they put the top on. Easiest install ever... ;)

I heard back from Envision, only ~$3750 ballpark. JK47 has graciously offered to show me how this all works in person so it could go up a bit once I actually know exactly what I want but that does include box overflows, which the guy at Envision sort of indicated was probably the only thing that was likely to raise the price on the final order. Definitely doable, thanks so much you guys.

Regarding 24" tall, my fish are all used to 30", and they definitely take advantage of it. Plus it would look funny next to my 150.

All of us here in the NW section are most likely willing to help. We have good members here. I still think you should come over, check out my setups and get some ideas on what has worked well and what hasn't in person. Let me know what works for you and I'll do my best to accommodate.

$3750 just for the tank. Throw in a custom stand, I figure that'll be $1250 or less, and it still comes in at less than the $5300 that GC quoted me for stand/tank/shipping/accessories. I doubt that it comes with overflow covers and bulkheads, but those are fairly minimal expenses.

And I definitely plan on seeing you soon JK47. No way in **** am I ordering that tank first. :)

Other than that, factor in about $600-800 for the pump, PVC, bulkheads, some sort of returns, heater, lights, bio media, etc if you're buying new?

On my 225's filtration system I'm running filter socks, 4L of matrix, Reeflo Super Dart Gold pump, 36 watt UV, 20 watt LED flood lamps, 1000 watt titanium heater with external Jehmco controller, dual Y split loc-line return nozzles.

I have lots of PVC elbows and stuff laying around in the 2" and 1.5" size you can have.

I have a pile of random 1.5" PVC stuff left over too I would be happy to give away.
