Hi guys... I just got a 1 inch (thai silk+kamfa) baby flowerhorn. Its a crossbreed (or so the seller claimed). I'm confused abt his food. The seller said Humpy-Head small pellets will do. Is he right ?? Or should i go for Tetrabits ?? How many pellets should i feed him and how many times a day ?? Should i feed him live bloodworms ?? Any other caretips/advice/precaution for my baby fh ??

Love this forum, thanks in advance !!:o

Lol to answer your question pretty much any high quality pellet, many on this forum use or suggest NLS or Hikari. I personally use hikari and my fish like it lol. I couldn't get them to eat NLS

Hikari Red would be my first choice. I noticed they like Grand Sumo and Grand Sumo Red but they go nuts over something called JBL Flower Maxi. The dealer I bought mine from said that's all they feed them in Vietnam and Thailand before they ship them over here.

Stick to NLS. If your fish won't eat it, starve them for 2-3 days. Honestly, a healthy FH should start taking to NLS in 24 hours of being starved. Hikari has MSG in their fish food. LOL. What a fail.
