Lots of Color - 135 Gallon Breeder Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I noticed the fish really fall in line and swim into the current created by the power head. I may have to set my tank up with one since they really seem to enjoy it.

It is more natural because in the lakes there is a small current and the powerhead generates a current and as you know all fish like currents :P just don't get a big current that actually pushes the fish.

I like the use of the pvc connectors for caves. i almost bought a black one the other day for my young clown knife, now i kinda wish i did... looks like ur going to have some fry soon with that kind of setup. the only crappy thing when that happens is its so easy to get hybrids. i had a yellow fin mbamba breed with a yellow lab in my tank, most of the babies were garbage but there was one incredible looking one.

Yeah I haven't had any inbreeding yet (lucky) but if I do the babies will be snacks for my other fish. I'm going to get some more tanks (75 gallons) and I'm going to divide up the species 2 kinds per tank and they will be very different kinds so no inbreeding will happen. Learning curve and expensive to do it right.
