you mean have 1 output and intake for 2 canisters? That would be crazy awesome imo

i don't think you could do this. i would assume the intake and outlet tubes are sized for a given amount of flow. if you try running two filters off one set of tubes, it would have to reduce overall flow through each filter. i of course have no way to prove this i am just thinking about head loss and fluid flow.
i run two sunsun 304b's on my 125. the rated flow is 530 gph and everyone is fine. danio's tetra's rhasbora's all move around ok.

I have been wondering this for quite a while.... I am running 2 fx5s right now n want a 3rd but to put a 3rd set of intake n outtakes will be alot on my back wall... I want to connect 2 n have the first one filter water the the second all baskets bio media.... Im thinking if i put all baskets in the first one filter pads it would slow down the flow.... Dont know... If anyone have tried this please post the info on how it worked.....
