500 Gallon Native Tank

Finally got to start on the stock.
I caught 2 big gills, one male and one female, male is 11" and the female is a tad or 12". These are not hybrid gills. The only reason I kept the female was because of her size.
My brother caught this 14" crappie, I wasnt expecting anything like this so I tossed her in a bucket and took her home.
So far they are all doing well. As soon as the fish are out of the 500 I will move these guys over.
I went to the creek today to catch some longears but we had a storm 2 days ago and the water is still high, muddy and moving way to fast, at least in KY, I may be in Ohio tomorrow creek fishing, hopefully I can add some more fish.

This is really an inspiration to me.So when are you planning to get the turtle?
I found a softshell on craigslist but no reply yet, I may order one from undergroundreptiles or kingsnake if I cant get one local
None, Sold out. The fish were killing my wallet, I want so many fish, I dont have enough room for what I want to do till I get a house, so till then I will only keep natives since they are free.

I was also thinking about some sort of water snake, we have banded watersnakes around here. Was thinking about making the 265 1/4 land and the rest water somehow but not sure yet.
I have a buyer for the Dovii pair and he is on the fence about the Umbee as of right now, I'm pretty sure he will snatch it but if he doesn't thats fine. I dont mind keeping him.
