I need to decide today whether I want my 75 to be black or white sand..background is painted black...using fake plants, stock will be angels, corys, german blue rams, black phantom tetra, and another tetra school undecided...so should I do white or black? We have white pool filter sand locally...but if I do black I need to order it..which is my next question..where do I get it at lol thanks all

I would do white. I feel like black sand with a black background will be too dark. I can't wait to see pictures of the finished product :)

Thanks, yeah I'm going for white..I will have pics in a few days, thanks all :)

Updated with PFS substrate..its really not that cloudy, just my camera sucks :)

the change of substrate is good, blue gravel looks tacky in my opinion and all the fish waste gets between the gaps making it hard to clean sand or very fine gravel is the way forward :) and like you said the corys will be much happier with it a bristlenose plec would be a good idea maby a pair?? keep your glass clean etc :)

Nice work
