Man I really don't want to have to run a heater but not keeping cichla is haunting me. Shark aquariums has piquitis for madd cheap.

that's pretty cool. i've been wanting to keep a striper also.

These fish have a ton of personality. This is probably the best fish that I have ever owned, they never sit still, they feed extremely aggressive and there coloration in person is great. The only negative is they get tremendous but there growth slows down dramatically after 12-13 inches and I expect some stunting in a tank.

I plan on keeping her as long as possible but I'll probably donate her to the zoo when and if I have too.

The largemouth is the newest addition, I named him Big Nasty. After being in the tank for less than 2 minutes, he was flaring up at himself from his reflection. I'll get some more photos of him once he settles in.
