I'd like to publicly apology to Dan (cichluvr) as I got his online business mixed up with another person's online business (who happens to also be named Dan) and my post about ignoring and avoiding Vendor PMs was not directed towards cichluvr's business.

Seems like there was alot of mixing up, sometimes this stuff happens. Thanks for clearing up things with Dan, and the effort to do the same with us awesome MFKers!!

For the record Ben I really respect what you just did here. Very few know what goes into managing the vendor program that you run, it's not easy but everyone can respect a moderator being up front with our members if they make a mistake.

Ben, Justin;
I want to express my gratitude in extending an apology to me. I think when there is confusion these things get blown way out of proportion. In reading through some of the threads, I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to assist me in becoming an online vendor as many members have given me their preference to do this. I tried this some time ago and due to busy schedules and other priorities this never occurred. Regardless, people do talk about my site on MFK and its only right that I contribute my fair share to this forum.

To fellow MFK members,
Thank you for your support through yesterday and today. It has not been a couple pleasant days. To those that were critical of me I will say its always good to wait until the facts are known before casting judgement. I will continue to provide everyone with the best possible fish I can. I too though make mistakes. All I ask is that if you are ever dissatisfied, please contact me through my email or PM me and give me an opportunity to make things right. If you are still unhappy with our resolution, then please feel free to comment however way you want.

I am happy and proud that this community is so passionate about cichlids. At the rate we are going, in about 8-10 years there will be more quality cichlids in captivity than out there in their own natural environment and I strongly believe our cooperation, communication, and passion for these species is their only hope for long term survival. There are a lot of excellent hobbyists on this forum, and I started and still am to a great extent a hobbyist at heart. Thank you again to everyone.

Aclockworkorange,
Please contact me at my email and I have sent you my telephone number through PM. In reading through your numerous threads, you clearly have a grudge against me. If you elect not to contact me, I would ask that you refrain going forward, of your negative commentary. I am extending you the opportunity to tell me whatever is that you are upset about in private, so that these threads don't get derailed and become a public forum for you to voice your displeasure toward me. I think everybody would appreciate that.

Great post Dan and you have some of the nicest fish hands down. I wish I could do more business with you but my tanks are pretty full and I have actually cut back a bit in the last year. When I order again you will be the first person I get in touch with.

Dan, I have no interest in speaking to you on the phone or via email or private message.
The thing is that this IS a public forum, I am here to discuss the hobby in all regards. I'm a heavily contributing member of MFK (one of the most currently active in fact) and maybe .001% of my posts mention anything about you.
Sorry if some of my opinions and questions bother you, and if the mods have a problem with them, then mods please contact me and edit whatever you feel necessary and I will remedy the situation in the future.
In regards to discussing anything having to do with you or your business on the forum in the future, I think I have said all I care to say for the time being. Anyone reading the threads will read the many posts from the many members here with different views and form their own conclusions.
On a final note, I'd like to publicly thank the mods that have to deal with this stuff on a daily basis and act purely as unpaid volunteers. They take time out from their personal lives with work, family, and their own hobby to deal with the forum in what is mostly a thankless endeavor.

Dan, I have nothing but respect for the way you've handled yourself in your replies. The way you've remained professional in your responses despite being singled out, berated and throughout their attempts at tarnishing your reputation. I can't begin to understand why a certain group of individuals who have targeted you with the lynch mob mentality ... and can't seem to let up. It's truly disheartening that this forum has had this influx of "hobbyist" who have a sense of arrogance about them, the "see how much I know" attitude from reading a few articles online between doing water changes in their 60 gallons tanks in the comforts of their apartment. I've been a customer and a friend of yours and COA and will continue to do so. I look forward to our next dealings Dan.... always a privilege.
