Very cool. I hold black widows, brown recluses, bark scorpions, king baboon tarantulas, and my friend's gaboon viper(non-aggressive species of snake, but still dangerous).
The key to holding dangerous animals is to be calm, slow, and never try picking them up with your fingers or anyway where it can scare/hurt them. Just let them climb on you, rather than you make them climb on you. I found out that a lot of venomous bugs and arachnids like the warmth of our bodies, therefore it is EXTREMELY unlikely they will bite you randomly.
The reason why you see/hear stories of people getting bit by such venomous animals is because they were accidents. Brown recluses and widow's for example like getting in our homes. They'll get in our clothes, shoes, and even beds. People rarely check those places and then they end up sitting on them or hurting them really badly. Obviously the poor animal cant get away unless it defends itself by biting. They would rather run away then bite us. So everyone please, check your clothes, shoes, and beds before using them. Believe me if you do, you will probably never get bit.
@ruckaisawesome very interesting video. Beautiful specimen as well.
