I have one in quarantine with a male flowerhorn and the flowerhorn is cowering in the corner of the tank.

Like this? Actually these were small at the time. The FH was a 4" ZZ female and the Jag was a 4.5" male. The FH won the fight and the FH is now 7" living in a 135, the Jag is 6.5" in my 240. Most of the flowerhorns I have dealt with are mean!

One of my Kamfa thats 4-5" has teeth as well. Hes a mean little sob.

this thread got me interested in hypothetical fights, Vieja argentea Vs Jag ....who will win ?

mine would probibly be an even fight with a jag the same size... Mine has some little teeth but they are not huge beacause my flowerhorn is only 3-3.5 inches...The thing is that jags have pretty good teeth too beacause they are paracrmis so i would not overestamate... I have tried other cichlids with him and he always bullys them... I might be trying a birchir with my flowerhorn beacase they have boney skin and are not cichlids...
