Question of 10 gallon aquarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a 10g tank that has had a group of 8 Rasbora Espei, 7 Corydoras, a single male Betta and a lone Ghost shrimp. The all work well together and dont bother one another. The Espei are a great looking small schooling fish and the Corys regulaly spawn. Just make sure you keep to a good routine with the cleaning and you'll do great.

Neons only get like an inch and a half, plus I do weekly waterchanges, lemon tetras dont get very big either. I have kept a dozen in a 10 with ease but I also do waterchanges and good filtration.

I was referring to the Pleco I didn't think a pleco would be good for a 10g not only for the size but there waste

thanks for your answer.Another 1 question to ask. Can aquarium plant grow in the gravels without soil? Do pleco harm the plant?
plants such as Java fern and anubias do best when tied to a live of driftwood. I have Java moss superglued to a piece of driftwood and one tank and it grows so fast I have to trim it every 2 weeks.

I recommend glofish. I started with those and I will eventually be moving the whole school back to my 10g under some sort of blue/black light when I can get another fry tank

The more care you give your tank though, the more you can keep in there. :))

In general, anyways. I haven't removed water from my 10g for about 3 quarters of a year now, and my fish are still fine. >_> Maybe I'm just lucky.
What fishes do you keep in your 10g tank?
