baby Festae Gender

this fish is 2.8" right now.
I think it's a female. Pretty sure too till time proves me wrong.
Do you agree with me it is a female?

She never had any stripes. I grew her from 1".

I think it's probably too soon still they can look male one min. And female the next. If I had to venture a guess I would lean more towards male but that is as much a guess as a solid conformation. Give it another couple
of months and repost.

Im going to update this one to confirm what it is for sure. It may take till end of the year or next year but time will come.

From my experience at that size all festae usually have a lot of Spangling on the fins. This festae looks like it doesnt have much. So on that note It looks female. It does however have the iridescent line on the top of the fin from front to back that all my previous males have had. Tough call. 50% shot but I'll call female since the iridescent line could in fact be the black/blue of the female top fin. Def keep us posted.
