What do you do to keep from losing water, my aerator bubbles up and a lot of the water is lost, what do you guys do to prevent this?

Lower your water temp or raise your air temp. If you have an 86 degree tank in a 72 degree tank with no lid it will loose water like crazy

Hello; I have placed a sheet of glass above the splash with success. The water drops hit the glass and largely drip back into the tank. The glass does not have to seal the top of the tank, just catch the spray or bubbles.

I just add water when I need to the water level in my setup shows fine...but my sump levels drop so I just had prime to the new water and pour it in until I hit my proper water line.

Thanks for the input guys, I put a sponge over it which worked for like a month but now its starting to disintegrate and I don't want it harming the water at all. its only a concern for my 20 gallon puffer tank cause I have an overpowered sponge filter and the bubbles sometimes splash enough water to leave a puddle on my counter which is where my tank is.
