New F1 Umbee pair forming ?

I just bought this 3 inch female umbee 2 days ago when I saw it had laid eggs at the store. I swaped my chopped dovii female for this F1 umbee female. The umbee hated the dovii and was constantly beating on the divided like he was really pissed.
This female umbee was spawned by a wild pair from Don Conkel and the male umbee is an F1 spawn from The General so these are unrelated fish.
I took a chance and put her in with no divider. The male seemed to like her immediatly.

looks like it. be ready for marital disputes. umbees are notorious for having weak pair bonds and males going nuts on females3

Its a 75 gal.


The male is a shade over 7 inches and female is approx. 3.5 inches.

How much for the pair?

If they actually spawn and produce offspring then the value would be in the $200 - $250 range.

A spawning pair changes everything.

My female can be brutal on my male but when the male is in a mood....she better look out! Good thing she can find hiding places lol
