Pbass tank size?! And pbass question

I would suggest a 180 gallon would be bare minimum for a pbass. Even for the smallest species pbass they still get quite large.

I have a 180 and I wouldnt put more then one in... Im geting one on monday accually. only 10 inches.
I just picked up my first azul pbass today. i got them for $100 each. They are 3 inches long. I got 5 of them in a 160gal for now

What! I thought that $300 was cheap for them! I'll definetly look into some azuls in the future. They are such beautiful fish! So what cichlids are they compatible with?

I had one back in the dark ages (1990 or so) I got it at approx 2" it was kept by itself in a 70. At the time I thought that was a pretty big tank! I wouldn't use a tank that small now but he always seemed happy and lived 12+ years in there.He toped out at 16" so clearly a larger tank would be better, I think something at least 2' wide and 8' long.
I think Ocells, Monos and Orinos are cheaper then Azuls. When I was into raising pbass you can find 2" babies at LFS's for like $10 each. This was 2-3 years ago though. I don't know if prices have gone up or not.
