On occasion i have got these i've peeled them - they spit all the shell out over the tank and i have to go in and get it.

I purposely buy ready shelled stuff.

Have heard horror stories of the fish gettn spiked by them.

There is probably some vitamins or other benefits to leaving the shell on.The aforementioned spike notwithstanding.

Gotta agree with u. Ever since I gave him shrimp with the shell, I've been scooping out shells lol
