Will my fish be sad if I move it to a different tank?

I had to move my fire eel from a smaller tank to a bigger tank, due to its growing size. Tanks were right next to each other. A few days after the move, the fire eel manage to jump from his new tank and into his old tank during feeding, and it went straight back to its old hiding spot.

Well, as long as it didnt go down your throat....one guy ate a fire eel!!
