Best catfish bait

Went fishing last Friday at a pay lake in Ohio cot 25 fish (catfish) biggest one was a 28 pounds flat head or shovel head (some people call em this) smallest one was 8 pounds went fishing all night used cut shad and live bluegills and carp only cot one blue he was 15 pounds go with live and cut baits for big fish if your channel cat fishing use cut bait (cut carp) went fishing to day cot three channels on cut carp
fishing pay lakes isnt even fishing... you shouldnt feel too high and mighty about catching a big cat that was raped from its home then stuffed in a mud hole with no food and left to starve to death or get caught repeatedly until it dies. Try catching them in their natural environment where it takes a little sportsmanship and knowledge to catch something.
Seems to me you are experienced at fishing what kind of line should I use whaf waights ... they have a dam at the lake I'm fishing at would that be a good spot

Chicken liver is chicken **** when it comes to catching big catfish, all of the above are from live/cut bait, lets see some trophy caught from chicken liver. If you wanna fiddle fart around with fart knocker catfish use worms/liver. Catch some nice eaters with raw shrimp. And if you wanna to catch one worth bragging about use cutbait or live, bluegill shad or chubs

the dam would be a good place to start. Ask locals and try to squeeze some info out of them but remember this is there territory you cant expect them to tell you everything. Because its a lake, small sinkers should work just fine, 1 to 2 oz should be more than enough. The dam might have some current, which is a good thing. Just use enough weigh to keep your bait on the bottom and keep it still. Try a carolina rig for best results.
ya and you might catch 1 fish that size in a week or so of fishing i would rather use liver and catch a bunch of nice size fish
You might assume that, but it isnt true. There are many people who catch more big fish in a night then i do in a year. Its called luck, and it has alot to do with fishing.
Catching big cats isnt easy, but it is rewarding. I could catch 100 dinks but holding up the big one that you've worked so hard for is much more enjoyable.
