Best catfish bait

Just watched a video How to bait minnows so do you hook them on the dorsal fin or mouth? Which is better for catfish so they don't get away. Im going to the Colorado river and we are planning to catch catfish at night.

Best place to hook is behind a dorsal fin.

yah behind the dorsal fin because they can still breathe but they struggle.

agreed, but in heavy current, its better to hook through the nose.

if you want a flathead. you gotta use live bait. leave it close to the bank of the river and i guarantee you will catch one

Only got turtles frogs and bass... No catfish no bluegill they need to ban those jet engine boats they are polluting the water so much its redic

I would use shad, and Live bait.... Oklahoma is a great place for BIG CATS !.... Good luck Bud.
