They also may no longer be a pair. I have a pair or what was a pair that bred once, since then it has been almost a year with no other signs of spawning, and I have tried everything you tried. You could also separate them for a bit and re-introduce them.

i think the dithers are a good idea cause before i got the catfishes they werent really trying the male would stay one one side mostly and the female on the other some times swimming to the other side then when i got the cat fish they started tag teaming the catfish that would go close to their side. and spended more time together digging while the other stood guard. now they stick together more but no real signs off a relationship . so im going to try a dither and buy a divider , maybe give her a tank to her self and try re introducing tthem later.

i tried a mirror he doesnt fight it he only sits in front of it . the female will fight it thou
What temp do you have the water at? I've found that raising the temperature to 83 or so helps.

The heater is set to 82° but it at 87° now cuz its so hot in my room

I got a new female slightly bigger then the one I had and they started battling for dominance and the male . The new female won and beat the snot to of the smaller female shes missing a ton of scales and looks to be developing ick
