Have ball pythons been put on the list?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
its all screwed up honestly
I'm not sure what it will take for lawmakers to see our side of things but I fear that this might be a loosing battle
almost makes me want to leave the country and go international, ya know?
anyways, as far as we know for now ball pythons are safe, but considering what has happened in the past...
on another topic, how would one even be able to challenge these laws once they get passed? would it ever be possibly for the burmese python to become unregulated again? I've always wondered what would have to happen to fix this

Unforunately we dont have the celebrity or uneducated idiot backing and funding like the other side ( peta, h$u$) so i think we'll always be on the losing side. Its gonna be hard to reverse the shortsided decisions like snakeheads or burms or any of the species that are banned on state levels

see, I've always found that a little funny (though it IS sadly true) there are plenty of well known people that are avid herp enthusiasts...i think their problem though is just that they are metal heads or hard rockers that society in general just views as irresponsible people
*Sigh* people and their stigmas, we're not asking for you to become animal keepers yourself, just to let us keep privately in our own homes what we want to keep privately in our own homes
its not like ALL don't know what we are doing :(

see, I'm just sad because I know that by the time in my life were I'd be able to own a large python, both financially and having the experience to feel comfortable with it, that I wouldn't be able to really find a place were I could own one, and still be able to be free to choose wherever I live in this country, if even this country
meh, I've always wanted a Borneo Bateater tbh, its the first animal that really caught my eye and got me into snakes and other reptiles and keeping them on a higher level...too bad that's never going to happen now (unless I move out of country or go to a state that someone is still breeding them in...ugh)
