Yes red belly pacu are a SLIGHTY smaller than blacks but still they are too big for most setups. Now why you don't destory it since it is illegal fish?
 
I have grown really fond of him, he eats out of my hand and really has become a wet pet. I dont think i would be capable of killing him. If it comes to that though, i guess ill have to do it, but im still gonna try a bit longer looking for someone with an indoor pond.

Don´t kill him. I´m sure he´s a great fish. Pacu have lots of personality.
 
We will not allow how to hide or help exchange of illegal species.
