Well mine are huge at about 13 inches male and 10 female and althought they have produced eggs a couple times they never seem to follow through. They keep eating the eggs.

Well mine are huge at about 13 inches male and 10 female and althought they have produced eggs a couple times they never seem to follow through. They keep eating the eggs.
I had a male and 3 females for 9 years and they never reproduced. Male died this spring and was 14.5" and just under 4 lbs.

thats the same thing that keeps happening to me. and after the last failed attempt my male has been more mean to the female than usual. at times he keeps her behind a log on one side of the tank.
