How many here have eaten their red tailcat or another fish?

so i know some here may be offended. But my father loves monster fish. So i buy a small rtc at 2". hand feed it as my pet. when he's a good 10" i give to my dad and he keeps him as a pet util about 30" where hes big enough to eat his 2ft aro. Then we enjoy him one last time and bbq him. about 2 months before that point i buy another baby rtc and start all over again!

let's here it. am i the only strong stomached fish lover here?
 
You know, people bash Asians for eating dogs, etc...but those were never pets. I do not under stand how people can raise and pet to eat it.

Besides, the water treatment and all the medicine is not safe for human consumption.
 
It's probably no different than eating a catfish you caught from a river (except it's probably cleaner actually) but no...I've never eaten one of my fish.

If it isn't safe for human consumption than how is it alive. Half of the crap humans eat would kill fish.

I wouldn't eat any fish I've pellet raised because they would probably taste like crap.

haha, i we have eaten almost every food weve feed to our fish. once I orderd some flakes and when i got home my dad said "your fish wont eat this it tastes like crap" i replied "DAD THATS METICATED FLAKES FOR INTERNAL PARISITES." He responded, well they still wont eat it. he was right lol.

We didnt eat the first rtc we had cause we used melafix as treatment alot in that tank. from that point on we just use prime in the tank no other chemicals.

Also I do not enjoy killing the fish..thats always hard. but they actually taste like good catfish"im not a fan of catfish cause they taste like mud. but our tank raised rtc normally taste much better.

I had some friends who grew up in venasuala and would catch and eat rtc. they said it was great. kinda started this whole deal!
 
On a German forum somebody ate his TSN. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Lol, do you think in the wild they only eat tasty stuff?
What exactly do you think fishery-raised trout, carp etc. eat?
