Whats up MFK!

Lately my fish collection hasn't been what it used to be due to my being away at school. All I have currently is a school of six congo tetras (two males, four females). I recently came home for the summer and I've been looking to get some new fish. Being a college student money is pretty tight but I think I may have caught a break. A good friend offered to give me a rather large Polypterus ornatipinnis , I haven't had a chance to get an exact measurement but it looks to be about 16" or so. The same friend also said that they might be willing to give me a pair of wild Geophagus altifrons that are around 6". My question is would these fish be compatible? It would just be the three of them and the congo tetras in 90 gallon tank. The altifrons are stunning and it would be a pity if the ornatipinnis harmed them.

Thanks in advance!

the bichir might try and eat the tetras Polypterus ornatipinnis get up to 27"

The geos should be fine if they are fully grown. People will probably say an ornate bichir needs bigger than a 90... But thats your call to make

I suppose I could keep the bicher for a while until it outgrows the tank, thanks!
