Pair of jack Dempsey

Hello all cichlid fans...this is my First post in this forum...
Is it possible to keep a pair (male and female) of normal jack dempsey in a tank full of datnioide tigerfish? They will be 5 inch each.
The tigers are 5 inch to 14 inch.

I have in the past had 1 electric blue JD with 3 female elec blue JD, an eventually the male killed all the females.
What's the best combo of male /female for JD?
