API Tap Water Conditioner - WTF???

I read it, and it says acute, level 1. That means that only in high doses is it fatal. I'm just playing devil's advocate. I
Personally use Prime but i'm just saying that it has worked for this many years without negative side effects.

So are you trying to say all API products are bad. I've been using the stress coat for 10 years

Maybe so, BTW people can ingest low amounts of arsenic and live but does that mean is good for you.

I use API for most of my chemicals and I havent had a problem. Honestly, I can see my fish become noticeably happier after using stress zyme +. You can find a fault in everything, just stick with you know and see.

It also says it's a category 3 respiratory hazard, is fatal to aquatic life and vegetation in concentrations as low as .5ppm, and just one of the chemicals in it has a separate warning to "NOT allow product to come in contact with surface waters or to intertidal areas below the mean high
water mark. Do not contaminate water when cleaning equipment or disposing of equipment wash-waters. Wastes resulting from use of the product must be disposed of on site or at approved waste sites. DO NOT discharge into sewer or waterways."

So, tell me why I should continue to use a product that, although I haven't had any specific issues with it to date, says all that when compared to the obvious alternative of Prime that says NONE of that?
 
Everyday we are told something is bad for us or good for us. But I've always used API so I won't stop using it. Sometimes I don't use water conditioner and my fish are still fine.
