Huge Japanese dock washes up on Oregon Coast

Oh and last summer and this summer we are renting the same house right on mercer lake with a dock and the fishing is hot all day long, it's a fun little vacation

Whoa! That's crazy. I'm so jealous of you guys in Oregon--not because of the random docks that wash ashore but Oregon has to be one of the coolest places God created. Mountain biking, fishing, now docks!? ;-)

Oh yeah we usually golf also, we go to that course kind of on the outskirts of town, can't remember the name. Hole 1 has houses on the right side, and I remember koi ponds there haha. Yeah we usually rent a house and go fishing. whole family (lots of us) goes to buck lake for the day with kids and every buddy in attendance, then go to the north fork for salmon or blueback fishing, this year we may get a salmon charter which I've done a few times. And then monte Carlo on Friday nights, good times.

we're talking about the same golf course! i'll have to look into rentals out there. not a bad idea if the price is right. we mostly do day trips to florence (45 minutes away) and do our vacations in other beach towns (newport, depoe bay, seaside, etc)


you're right dan, highly unlikely but the thought is trippy enough for me. i'm just thinking of things floating just a few feet below water where you don't see it until you're too close

Lot of fishermen are waiting for these rubbish to drift by our coastlines cause small fish tends to hang around these rubbish in open waters for protection from predators. Rubbish means big fish hanging around usually.
