Male,Female? low quality?

I'm going low quality male.
It looks like it COULD pass some nice dot pearling on to some fry. Although alot of people like the big pearls.

If I had it... I'd try it out with a true Midas or a Synspilum

i tried it with a midas she just wouldn't cooperate.

Sometimes it's all in the way you introduce them.

The first time my BP laid eggs I put one of my ZZ's in her tank, took her out& he fertilized the eggs.
After he was done I switched them back& she took care of the eggs.

After this first batch was hatched& free swimming I gave them a divided 50breedrer, with one on each side. They had a batch on the divider about 3 weeks later.

ohh i didnt know you can do that i thought the male that was paired with her had to fertilize them..so you just put a random flowerhorn in there?
 
Ideas ideas. Neat I would not have thought so.
