Has anybody else noticed that Albino Pacu have pretty poor eyesight? At least the babies? Normal Pacu are very accurate when it comes to gobbling up food. The baby albino seems to "miss" a lot. (But he does get plenty in his tummy anyway!)

I have just one. Due to him being in with a redtail so far so good. I bought him at ocean state aquatics on here. Since I was so close to him I drove there and picked one up.

I notice that to be the case for the albino red ear slider turtles that I had before. They seem to smell for the food more than look for the food. Other regular turtles see the food as a first reaction. It is sad that they breed them for albinism and not for the health of the animal. Also, I see quite a few of the Electric Blue Jack Dempseys develop one blind eye after a certain age.
