Anyone have one of those tank stands that hold one under the other, or anyone have a setup like this? I set up a 20L under my 60, how do you guys gravel vac and siphon tanks that are to low to get suction going?

You can buy a automatic vac, but they don't empty water. They just collect dirt. The easiest but time consuming thing is to move gravel around, cup out water into a bucket, and then put newwater in.

I use a small pond pump connected to a hose, drop it in, plug it up

python

cheap pump or power head.

Plan on drilling all the tanks so I can hit a valve and they all empty. but if its just one tank not much point ;P

You could save some money but if you do drill it. Not a hard job depending on the tank and your skill level. spending 20$ on a pump is much easier.

Use sand so the crud stays on the top and can make it to the filter easier.
