Ok i wanted to compile a list of fish that are not prone to suicidal jumping.

so far all i know that dont jump are neon tetras, Siamese algae eaters and armano shrimps(tho i know they can jump if fish are trying to eat them) reason i know these guys dont cause i have them in an open top planted 20 gallon.

what else can you guys think of?

Most sedentary catfish. Chaca chaca, banjo, moth cats, the entire rough doradid family, most plecos...

umm i know for sure arowana's jump out of the tank... i think you got the topic wrong..

I think he's joking. ;)

It is kind of a crap shoot when running a rimless/lidless tank. I know guys that have run them for years without issue... I ran one for a while and would lose an odd tetra here or there, even a cory. If they get spooked and have enough momentum swimming up, it's out of the tank. I have also had barbs and cichlids jump.

Fancy goldfish with fat body, double tail, especially ones with l---o---n---g, draggy fins. By draggy fins, my meaning intention is for much friction between fins and water, not meaning fins wearing too much jewellery with oversized semi-precious stones.
