I read your posts, thoroughly... And the message that I got from your posts is that only an uninformed person who doesn't care about their piranhas would keep a solo pygo. Generally a kid, because apparently only kids would be "neglectful" enough to keep a solo. It is a very ignorant and high-handed comment. Maybe you need to do some more research before you decide to try passing judgement on other fishkeepers.

lmao, guess so... I know I'm not on here as much as I used to be. Even though I'm taking the summer off from college, I'm still pretty busy with my family, my rabbits, and having a life outside of the internet. Work is the only thing NOT keeping me busy... although I'm sure I'll get called in Monday after the races...
 
Crap happens sushi, people hate to make themselves feel better, to behonest I love my shoal but I've wanted to raise a solo rbp for awhile now just to see and experience a different side of pygos, I assume he'd be more like a dog with all the attention to himself!

How is yours? Does he come out when he sees u? Beg for food?

Peek is so much more mild-mannered. When you RAISE the fish as a solo, they're more sociable than one from a shoal. She was actually rescued, her tankmates were trying to eat each other. They were all missing big chunks. But like in my thread where I posted her pic, she 's high strung for a solo RBP.
 
My fiance says "High strung is an understatement... she'd be in an asylum for fish if they had 'em." If you look up my posts from '07 about Whiplash, my original RBP, he was very social, and used to me, he'd come out and see me at night when I'd lay in bed. I loved that fish!
