Not a typical dream car, but it was the first car I fell in love with, 1972 AMC AMX Javelin. My father owned one and I loved it, first car I thought was cool and started my whole interest in cars. He sold it for a steal too when I was 18, 62,000 original miles all OE not one mechanical or visual defect to speak of and virtually no rust and he gave it away basically $1,500. Loved that car from the screaming yellow paint job to it's black T on the hood.
