What are the cichlids? Convicts, or Lake Malawi or Tanganyika?
How is it that there is no sand in one corner of the tank (Do you have the filter running in reverse?)?

hi linus_cello
the cichlids in the tank are:
28 nature + f1 Pseudotropheus demasoni
8 f1 Labidochromis sp. "Mbamba" (rare malawi fish)
some of the pic' were taken while i replaced the sand from thin coral substrate to brown Quartz

Cool pics, nice collection, and they all seem to be thriving despite the vast range of dietry and water requirements. Would be interesting to hear what your water is like and what you're feeding them.

ps. when you write in white/light coloured fonts anyone using the 'MFK Light' skin can't see what you've written, I didn't even realise you had a list there until I saw a post further down where it looked like you'd quoted people and not written anything!

My temp is about 24-28 all year
My ph is about 8
I have 2 very strong ex' filters : ehaim 2080 only biologic filterayion & fluval fx5 only mechnic filteration

I feed my pleci with:
Tetra pelco multy wafers
Omega one pelco veggie rounds
Ocean nutRition algae wafers
Granugreen
Tetra bits
Blood warms
Dianchi veggie

And every 3 weeks i give them two Cucumber

Can you tell me please how i edit my message??

Sounds like a good mix of food, I've been thinking about keeping some other plecs with my group of 8 L14s (have L81 and L128 and L190 in a friends tank, and thinking about getting another royal) but was concerned about the diet thing.

I think you can only edit your posts for a certain timeframe after posting them, there should be an Edit button somewhere next to the post.

Have you considered removing these guys to reduce bio-load so you can keep the Plecos happier and healthier?
28 Pseudotropheus demasoni
8 Labidochromis sp. "Mbamba
