Question about the hard dorsal fin of cichlids.

Do they grow back? Cause I have a con that looks like it had been cut off and I was wondering if it would grow back?

Here. They're not keeping it down cause when the male flares at the female the hard dorsal doesn't go up.

sorry the quality of the video is bad. I think even the spines will grow back. i had polypteus where the somes did grow back and also snakeheads. but i have no cichlids, so i don't know. But even at my marine dwarf emperor fish, spines did grow back.
