I saw Madagascar 3 and went to a BBQ. The only tv I watched was the basketball game. I seriously had no idea.

This guy was a POS. he deserved every bit if that beating. I guarantee he was doing some illegal crap to get it. He blew all his money on alcohol and drugs. What good was he? Everyone was all upset that a black man got beat up on tape but just not too long ago a white guy got beat to death and no one cares or made a big deal about it. I'm sick of all this black racist crap. I don't care what ethnicity you are, work hard, don't steal or do illegal crap, have good morals and do good things and believe in God and good things will come to you.

This was 20 years ago and no one no matter what race deserves a beating like that from police officers. He's a part of American history wither you like it or not. I can't believe you can say with a straight face that anyone deserves THAT beating? I'd give you that beating just for wishing it upon anyone

Ps, he bought two houses but yes blew the rest of the money but to each their own. I give him props for living life like everyday was his last day.

The prison system is a joke and a waste of tax payers money. There is a very high percentage of prisoners that when released end up back in prison. I think it is 67% or more. I think there should be a higher disciplinary system or people will continue to do the same crimes over and over. Maybe if people knew if they got caught stealing they would get the crap beat out of them they would think twice. I don't know what the answer is but I know the current prison system ain't doing diddly.

I believe you're correct about the 67% re-incarceration in 3 years after release. The answer is a rewards system though. In Illinois, that rate drops to 16% when the individual has been introduced to a goal oriented recovery. Food for thought. ;)

I agree it's a broken system, unless you can live free of society's rules, what choice do you have as a felon but to chase fast money? It's hard enough getting through life clean, I can only imagine how much harder I'd have to work to make it if a ton of opportunities were taken away from me. Granted, you put yourself in that situation so you don't deserve much sympathy.

It's odd reading "believe in God" and "we should beat people half to death" from the same poster. I don't even want to know which religion you're practicing
