Really? I'd say there is plenty of evidence left by people who had witnessed their rights being stripped away by a government's whim.

I can go on and on and on the only reason big brother preaches gun control is because they want to control you and its a hell of a lot easier to control un armed sheep. The only reason your are free or have any rights is because people who thought clearly picked up weapons and fought for what was right. You're continued rights hinge on a armed force ready to pick up that fight should the need arise again. That is a fact.

Um no the war that freed this county from the tyranny of english kings was fought with guns. The civil war that freed slaves and reunited the county under one government one flag one purpose was fought with guns. The two world wars fought to end tyranny to protect the freedom and rights of sheep who ain't smart enough or brave enough to even understand them those were fought with guns. Words and hopes didn't win those wars guns did! The only reason your present government is your present government is because there are more guns in private collections in this county than there are people. The second amendment written down by our ancestors tells us to arm ourselves to protect ourselves from our own government as a means to keep them honest. The second amendment secures the rest.
All the hope and good will in the world never solved any major issue never stopped any crimes against innocents a gun and a real man did.

Without native alliance the Americans would now have won the war of independence. Guns so Americans could massacre the natives at places like Wounded Knee...did you know that the British never broke a single treaty they made with native Americans, and that Americans have never kept one. If the Indians had had guns the frkkin Mayflower would never have landed.
Guns to free the slaves...that wasn't what the civil war was about , it was much more about state Vs federal rights....and guns were used to keep the slaves before that, and to hunt them down when they tried to escape...
2 world wars...USA was totally isolationist and didn't enter WW1 for the first 2.5 years...waiting to see who would be winning...same in WW2, and even then wouldn''t have entered it if Japan had not attacked Pearl Harbor.
You knowledge of history is quite off, and it negatively affects your reasoning in this debate. If you start with a broken premise you end with a broken conclusion.

Zimmerman was politically connected. He of all people would have had the gun regardless. As we are on the subject of stats you are so bent on using to disarm me look up the stats on the most likely perpetrator of a minority teen being shot. Taking away my right to bare arms will not affect them.
