do you know that feeling, when you start to fall asleep...

the most weird thing that happened to me while sleeping was as i took a nap, i woke up and couldn't move. I was complely paralyzed, couldn't scream and nothing. That was several seconds i guess but fe
t like an eternity. Then suddenly i could move and jumped up in panic. I had that several times in my life and i know others who know that too. Its a terrible experience.

On this topic, anybody else hear random words in your head when your starting to fall asleep? Like when your half asleep, it happens to me when I'm tired and lay down on my bed when I tell my self I'm going to get up and feed my fish and brush my teeth, so like when I'm falling asleep there's random words in my head and then I catch my self from falling asleep and then feed my fish.

Paralized or Zombie like symptoms?
That's from "Bath Salt"

Have you ever been falling asleep with a noise in the room, and your mind makes up a dream that would work with the sound effects you're hearing? That's pretty cool, except when you're dreaming of listening to the radio on the way to work and it's really your alarm going off.

I've also heard that your body is becoming so relaxed it thinks it's dying, so it shocks your muscles, ie heart, to try to restart your body. Trippy stuff

I know this one. On occasions when I'm physically spent bet mentally alert sometimes I'm cognizant that I'm drifting into sleep and get paranoid that it's not sleep that I'm drifting into.

Best sleep-reaction I ever had was once at the academy.

We all had to give a presentation in History class first thing in the morning, then I fell asleep in the back of my next class (Math). The Math teacher must have paused and my body/brain told me that I was still in History class and someone had just finished their presentation, so I stood up while clapping... Only wake up fully to everyone staring at me and the teacher kicking me out...
