Can anyone give me information on the care of African pike? Or anyone with experience of keeping one. Thanks!

Highly underated in my opinion, they seem to be in the shadow of the African TigerFish. They don't get as big as ATF and they don't dash back and forth either.I am growing out a five incher and it eats freeze dried krill as well as live fishes.Their care is similar to that of the tigerfish and other large growing characins.

Yep, very underrated.
Unfortunately mine jumped out. He was about 9-10". I had no problems getting mine onto frozen foods. Very fast when chasing live foods.
Beautiful teeth

I have one, really entertaining to keep ! Especially during feeding, my one is on mp, cricket and morios!
Haven't tried pellet feeding though!
They seem quite docile, my one gets bullied a little by my arowana and Argentea.
But they are pretty Hardy!

My pike got eaten by my alligator gar :arapaimag

LOL,and the advice to pass on to the thread starter is to not house small fish with a larger fish that might view it as an expensive meal.
