Hello guys, I'm a bit of a newbie to this hobby (and a total newbie to this website!) so I'm gonna need a little help.
I have a lovely marble molly who looks like she's been pregnant for about a month! She's not got dropsy and her bowel movements are okay so she's not constipated, just wondering if anyone can tell me when she's going to drop as I have (today) put her into a breeding compartment but I don't wanna keep her in there too long and stress her out if she's a little farther off giving birth.

Thanks all!

Beth

Mollies usually drop their fry between 28 to 40 days. If its been a month then she could have them any day now.

Welcome to mfk !

wow she is very far along i breed mollies and by the time they are that big i move them to small breeder tank you have to do it as fast as possible cause marbled and dalmaton mollies a notorious for aborting remember to pull mommy or they babys out soon after she is done because they a horrible fry eaters

+1 they will def eat the fry. So you might want to keep an eye on her. I agree she is very far along.

Yeah, not moving, she's been laying for... I'm guessing around two hours. There's LOADS of eggs in the bottom compartment of the hatchery but no fry.

Ahh, such a shame :(
