How long can a tank run without a filter if It has a bubbler

erm, there are about a hundred other factors to take into consideration. Tank size, stocking level, stocking type, amount of aeration, sponge filter?, nitrate reading at time of filter loss, plant content, etc. You're going to have to give more info before we can even begin to guess.
Hello; I have run buckets and tanks with only a bubbler for up to several weeks. I have run QT and other tanks with only a bubbler type sponge filter for many months. Much depends on stocking density and how you keep up with water changes and cleaning.
It the early days of my fish keeping it was not uncommon for peoples setups to have no filtration or bubblers at all.

Recent research in "Upflow Algae Scrubber" design suggests if use bubbler and good lighting for growing algae then remove algae every 7 to 10 days, this is sufficient filtration:

Yea Ive had a fish live in a bucket with no bubles and no filtration for two weeks. I figure if I do a 10 percent water change daily and bubbles I should be ok.
Your gonna run into water quality issues if you have a large stock or even a small stock since the only bacteria in the tank will be on the glass and gravel. The bacteria is typically in the filtration system which yours will have none. What size tank and what stock?
