180g native tank in an apartment?

Sounds like a great idea...plus you have plenty of options, and catching them instead of purchasing them is more rewarding.
I think his main concern is the weight upstairs. It doesnt matter what kind of fish you keep when they're flopping around 1 floor down lol

Dude if the floor is made of concrete then u can park a bus on top n it won't matter... I have a 100 gal on a third floor and it is safe as can be

I lived in 3rd floor condo with a 125 and 150 in living room and 125 and 55 in bedroom, no issues. Since I'm on the bottom floor I went bigger, much bigger 
Thanks guys I was looking into either a 125 or 180 tank and was just trying to get an idea of how realistic it was in an apartment. The store offers delivery and set up although I'll probably just go for the delivery. I also have renters insurance with $500,000 liability coverage
A 180 g tank us 2100 lbs. if you think your apt can hold a small car go for it.
