European cruise... who's been on one?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
forgot to ask this question... what the heck do you do on a 14 hour flight?!?! the first four fours are to north carolina where we stop for two hours and leave for italy. the longest flight ive been on was 6 hours which was to hawaii. so yeah, whats the best way to keep myself occupied... btw im not so much of a sleeper when it comes to flying so i'll be up most of the time.

For flights longer than 6 hours, fly separate from children and move to business class. In business class, get sleep. Alcohol may assist.

Everyone books spa treatment on "cruising day", so must need book ASAP before everyone else does. Seriously, try book even before going on ship. But this usually so popular, many ships not allow pre-book before get on ship. So, get on ship and book, even before going to room! Also, confirm and re-confirm spa treatment booking for this "cruising day".

After leaving and before returning to Civitavecchia, insist on knowing if ship will do Isola del Giglio salute. Give captain serious stern look so insist on truth. Of course, you not able to change plan either way, but can prepare accordingly.

Enjoy holiday,
Kuji out.

What to do in Mallorca?

Well, Spanish banks need rescue. Donald Trump investigating Spanish property market. Mallorca real estate prices 40% lower than 2007. Time to buy? Not quite. Wait details for Spanish bank rescue. Wait for more bad news very likely in Eurozone. Wait for Greece to stabilize or not. Wait for China indicators. Likely further falls in Mallorca property prices, BUT, certainly is time to start LOOKING...research prices, good suburbs and streets. PM if need buyer's agent.

Also, suggest visit to yacht marina to see most of best boats in Mediterranean. Recommend Puertos Portal Marina outside Palma to watch yachts also rich and famous people.

For Vatican, if you have Catholic faith, attend St Josemaria Feast Day Mass TODAY and seek Vatican referral. Brush up Latin beforehand. PM if no success.

Most trans-atlantic flights now have a on-demand type movie service in each seat, which helps alot, there are usually many new movie releases available. Also, as mentioned, Adult-beverages are usually complimentary (if you're of age).

Just make sure that you get up and move around every few hours, even if you don't feel like you need too. Doing this will make the most difference in your comfort towards the end of the fight. I make it a habit to do a lap around the plane inbetween each movie/meal or nap, etc... your leg/back muscles will thank you later.
