I plan on and setting up my first 125 gallon african cichlid tank. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with various african cichlids AND the african lung fish cohabitating together in one tank. Do you think it could work out, or is this an absolutely awful idea?

This is what will happen well kinda cuz africans will probly get eaten. This is my 5 inch isletas cichlid after a lungfish attack

Yes. The lungfish will eat the cichlids, or if the lungfish is small, it will have it's little legs ripped off.
Probably won't work out well.

I was just reading this and wondering for my own tank if you were to do something like this but with a marbled lungfish instead and kept it with larger SA or CA cichlids like Oscars,a large Jack Dempsey or even a huge blood parrot would it work out any better as far as casualties? Any and all fish would be larger then the lungs head and or mouth just a thought.
